An opioid misuse tool because abuse is far too profuse

The Hippocratic Heroes
vs. The Healthcare Hypocrites

Brought to you by grant funding from the USDA through The non-partisan and objective research organization, otherwise known as NORC at the University of Chicago, and found with a link from the USDA

Note: The USDA is responsible for developing and executing federal laws related to farming, forestry, and food. The department also spearheads development and funding for business/ home ownerships in rural America. Here's their landing page for the Opioid Epidemic fight.
Not everyone is aware of the role that each division, department, or committee plays in the epidemic fight. Especially not the addicted, afflicted, or diseased. Or their respective day-to-day duties for that matter.

I, for one, was unawares the USDA offered housing assistance until epidemic research led me to that interesting piece of wisdom. And I am a college educated 30 something from South Georgia.

The Dept of Ag is embedded in my pores as the grandson of a third generation farmer and lifelong advocate of the USDA.

It is too bad Grandpa & Grandma don't live forever.

As you may or may not have noticed, we here at The OUD Collective™ assemble, assign, assess. And only after an actionable alternative has passed the three A's test do we articulate those findings for earthlings everywhere.

This one here is a real humdinger hear?

You can review overdose DEATHS by

  • Race/Ethnicty
  • Age
  • Educational Achievement
  • Disability
  • Median Household Income
  • Poverty Rate
  • Unemployment Rate
  • Accident Prone Employment

Should you want to bring the epidemic to the dinner table conversation, you can even check your county statistics on overdose deaths going back almost a decade
These are the tools that will end epidemics. But they will not do it alone. Or without serious changes in the way we Americans think and treat our fellow neighbor.
Stigma is deeply embedded into our being.
And we must look to those great folks that have almost claimed victory over the horrific epidemic that is the HIV | AIDS virus.
Not only following the path they paved in shifting the collective perspective, but also taking the fight to the Criminal Injustice system.
And once they hand off the torch, hopefully we can light the world on fire and flip it on its head by systematically and strategically suffocated the healthcare hypocrisy that exists all over this broken, but not yet beaten, country.

For those hippocratic heroes, you know who you are. And this won't bother you one bit.

For those hypocrites. Do you feel the rage and anger that comes from stigma and assumption? Good.

Assessing And Analyzing Acronym's; Also Alliteration Actualized

Notation on NORC

"We were founded and incorporated in 1941 as the National Opinion Research Center and this remains our legal name. In 2010, to reflect the many changes in our mission and the global nature of our work, we registered NORC as our externally facing, to-do-business (TDB) name. NORC is not an acronym, it is our name, as with organizations such as IBM, AT&T, RAND, and GEICO. We use NORC at the University of Chicago to emphasize our close affiliation with the University."
